It’s the ability to come up with new and innovative ideas, to problem-solve, and to see things from different perspectives. Exploring the your unique creative gifts has the power to change your life.
If you take a moment to think about it there is nothing that exists in our industrial world that is not the direct result of someone’s creative thinking. The chair you are sitting on, the device you are reading this on, are all a product of the creative imagination of someone.
What do you love to create? Often times people do not view themselves as creative because they do not see themselves as creative in the traditional sense of “painting, drawing or dance.” In reality humans are all bursting with creative genius it just all looks a little different. There are creative woodworkers, coders, social media creator, engineers, architects, iron workers the list is infinite. Really anyone who is thinking outside the box and doing their craft in a new way is sharing their creative gifts this the world.

This is also why creativity needs to be fostered in children. As a teacher, I see each and everyday how kids absolutely flourish when they are given opportunities to be add their own creative flare to their project. In the ever changing world that we live in we are going to need creative innovators to help solve the global problems and issues that arise. Not people who just do what they are told and stay small.
